Frequently Asked Questions
By Our Customers

Is Union Collision Open On Saturday?

No, the office is closed on Saturday. Our regular business hours are 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Special arrangements can be made to drop-off or pick-up your vehicle on request.

What Methods of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept credit cards, cash, certified checks and money orders. We do not accept personal checks.

Do I Have To Pay The Deductible?

The deductible amount is the amount that you agreed to when you purchased your insurance policy. The deductible is due in full when you pick up your vehicle. If you are not at fault in the accident, we suggest you call the other person’s insurance company. We can assist you by explaining how this process works.

Is The Estimate The Final Cost?

Sometimes there are unexpected costs involved with the repair due to hidden damage that we couldn’t see or an additional part that we may need to repair your vehicle. We try our best to write an accurate estimate the first time and will advise you at the time of the estimate what items may be in question.

Is Kenny The Owner, There?

Yes, Kenny is here. However, please keep in mind that Kenny is a busy man. Besides writing estimates Kenny is constantly improving Union Collision’s infrastructure and, being our senior technician, is called upon to fix complex vehicle issues. Please ask for anyone in our office and we will be more than happy to help.

Is The Price of The Repair Less If I Don’t Use My Insurance?

No. Whether you use insurance or not there is only one way to repair your car and that is the right way. The estimate written is to repair your vehicle to the condition it was in prior to the accident.

Will My Color Match?

Yes. Depending on what part we are painting and the color of your vehicle, there are different ways that we achieve correct color match. Generally, we blend the paint with the adjacent panels to match the original finish. Please go to our photo gallery for a better understanding of the blend process.

What Insurance Companies Do You Work With?

Union Collision is part of a Direct Repair Program (DRP) for many of the largest insurance companies in New Jersey. This means we are able to handle your insurance claim from start to finish without anyone from the insurance company coming to inspect your car.
